Built on trust and fairness, Wattkan Ltd. was established to handle storage and renewable energy related projects from pre-sales phase until operation and to provide energy consultancy with auditor services. Built on the years-long experience of an energy auditor having written a PhD on the topic of energy system optimization, Wattkan's explicit strategy is to deal with energy related topics holistically, assessing every aspects of the customer's site in order to deliver the very best solution and best value for money.

Storage helps with the problem of non-dispatchability of renewables and facilitate economic business cases.

Wattkan's services and products are not going to be sold to the general public without consideration of the user's specifications. Every sold service and product will be carefully evaluated and tailor-made before arriving to its final destination.
Meet the founder
Kristóf Urbán
Founder & CEOI am an HVAC and energy engineer and an MBA economist. After working in three countries, developing business concepts for Bosch and writing my PhD on energy system optimisation, I moved back to Hungary in 2021 to work as an energy consultant and auditor. I founded Wattkan in 2023 to market battery solutions and renewable energy projects, and to provide energy consulting and auditing services to customers who really want a holistic approach, synthesising everything I have seen and learnt in many industries.
